Job summary

AGAT Laboratories is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping associate to support our laboratory operations in Ontario. The role involves receiving and shipping samples, safely handling packages, tracking orders, and maintaining inventory within a fast-paced lab setting.

You will work day and night shifts, including weekends, and must meet weight-lift and safety requirements. We value accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Forklift ticket is a plus.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shipping and receiving of samples and packages.
• Facilitate safe handling and proper placement of packages/cylinders.
• Track orders and maintain inventory.
• Work in a laboratory environment with day/night shifts, including weekends.

The expected wage for this position is $20.00.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensuring the shipping and receiving of samples and general packages.
• Facilitating procedures for packages/cylinders that are handled safely and put in their proper place.
• Responsible for tracking orders and keeping inventory.
• Requirement to walk, stand and lift throughout the shift in a laboratory environment.

What You Bring To The Table

• Valid forklift ticket and experience is an asset.
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a mature work ethic.
• Problem solving, communication, organization, and time management.
• Commitment to the production of accurate and timely results.
• Must be flexible to work day and night shifts including weekends on a 4 days on 4 days off rotation.
