The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A high school diploma is required, post-secondary education is an asset, and previous reception experience is a plus.

Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a Receptionist to join our Hamilton team!

This position reports to the Manager, Personal Insurance and serves as the first point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service to visitors and clients. As a receptionist, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, managing external and internal mail and transferring calls to the correct lines of business. You thrive on providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Your communication skill both verbal and written are clear and professional. You work effectively on your own while collaborating seamlessly within a team.

This position is based onsite in our Hamilton office fromMonday to Friday.

What you will do:

The expected base salary range for this role is $35,300 to $47,900. Final compensation may vary and will take into account factors including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, knowledge and internal equity.
