RECEPTIONIST | TLC Calgary SW

Your tasks at a glance
  1. You warmly welcome patients and direct them to the waiting room, ensuring that new patients complete the questionnaire to add to their files.
  2. You handle mail, clinic phone lines, and voicemails, and make sure to call patients to confirm their appointments.
  3. You are responsible for updating the medical records and appointments software after each patient's arrival and departure.
  4. You manage inventory and ensure the aesthetics and cleanliness of the clinic when needed.
  5. You will be cross-trained for the Clinical Assistant position (once you have completed your initial training).
A clear view of your assets
  1. You have experience as a receptionist, medical secretary, or administrative assistant in a doctor's office AND/OR have strong customer service/patient care skills.
  2. You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365; knowledge of EMR systems is an asset.
  3. You demonstrate a strong customer focus and good emotional intelligence.
  4. You stand out for your organizational and collaborative skills as well as your ability to work with minimal supervision.
  5. You especially thrive in a dynamic environment and when working as a team.
  6. You have excellent communication skills in English.
  7. Schedule: You have flexible work availability from Monday to Friday (8:00 am-4:00 pm).
