Job summary

Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop is seeking a friendly Guest Services Associate to join our Beacon Hill team in Calgary. You’ll greet guests, manage the queue, answer calls and emails, and assist customers with grooming products to ensure a standout guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Evening and weekend availability is required for this part-time role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming guests and creating a friendly, positive first impression
• Managing the service queue and helping keep the shop running smoothly
• Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and assisting with guest inquiries
• Helping guests find the right hair care and grooming products
• Supporting retail sales, product displays, and inventory
• Working closely with our barbers and stylists to deliver an awesome guest experience
• Keeping the reception and retail areas clean, organized, and inviting

What We're Looking For

• A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine passion for customer service
• Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize in a busy environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to support your teammates
• Confidence recommending products and helping guests with their purchases
• Availability to work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends
• Previous reception, retail, or customer service experience is an asset
• Experience in a barbershop, salon, or spa is a bonus, but not required!
