Tommy Gun's Original Barbershop in North Vancouver is seeking a friendly Guest Services associate to run the front desk and set the vibe for the shop. You’ll welcome guests, manage the waitlist, and help keep the space organized.

This part-time role offers 2–3 shifts per week, starting at $18.75 per hour, with growth opportunities and staff discounts. You’ll handle check-ins, phones, and product recommendations while supporting a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk or hospitality roles and customer service.
• Ability to manage waitlists and greet guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Flexible availability for weekdays, weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and manage the waitlist.
• Walk clients to their barber's chair and assist on the floor.
• Answer phones, manage check-ins, and operate the register.
• Keep retail shelves stocked and recommend products.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop floor during busy periods.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle the flow of a busy shop. If you have experience as a restaurant host or hostess, or a background in retail and customer service, your skills will transfer naturally here.

• Flexible availability with the ability to work weekdays, weekends, and evening shifts
• Checking guests in, managing the waitlist queue, and walking clients to their barber’s chair
• Helping team members sweep and sanitize stations between guests so chairs flip quickly
• Answering phones, managing check-ins, running the register, and helping guests find the right products
• Keeping retail shelves stocked, managing inventory, and making product recommendations
• Communicating clearly with the Barbers and going above and beyond for every guest, every time
• Staying positive, welcoming, and organized when the shop gets busy!
