Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Retail Outfitter who will work within a team to create a world class shopping experience by providing legendary customer service and exceptional product knowledge to every customer, reporting to the Group Sales Manager.

The role involves assisting customers in buying decisions, promoting programs, maintaining store presentation, resolving issues, and staying current with outdoor lifestyle trends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales or service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customer needs and make recommendations.
• Provide superior customer service and exceed expectations.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.
• Good judgment and logical decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, and making product recommendations based off of this analysis.
• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Starting Pay Rate: $18.25 - $20.25
