Job summary

RONA in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth, accurate product flow from deliveries to store shelves. You will play a key role in turning incoming deliveries into ready-to-sell stock and support inventory control.

You’ll receive all product deliveries, sort and unpack, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, schedule deliveries, and ensure space is available. You will complete paperwork with attention to accuracy and contribute to a safe, efficient

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
