Job summary

Nature's Fare Markets in Langley, BC is hiring a Receiver/Team Member to help stock shelves, greet drivers, and handle day-to-day shipping and receiving tasks.

You will welcome delivery drivers, verify orders, inspect for damage, and process invoices while keeping back stock neat and organized. This role offers a supportive team and growth opportunities within a BC-based, community-focused grocer.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a similar shipping & receiving role.
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs.
• Passion for local, organic and sustainable food.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Energetic, fast-paced environment suitability.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders from vendors and Nature's Fare locations.
• Check for damages and ensure product quality.
• Manage special customer orders or holds.
• Process shipping paperwork and invoices.

The successful candidate can expect to work 32 - 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday or Thursday to Sunday (subject to change)

Regular Store Hours:

Mon – Sat 8:00am – 8:00pm
Sun 9:00am – 7:00pm

RECEIVERTEAM MEMBER

As part of our team, you are part of the magic that keeps the flow and order of things moving. This role receives incoming products to keep our shelves stocked for our customers so they are able to grab what they need, when they need it. You are the “go-to” for day-to-day invoice paperwork and product shipping questions for the team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• You welcome delivery drivers and receive orders that arrive from our vendors and other Nature’s Fare locations each day.


• Quality products is important to us and our customers so you make sure there are no obvious damages to the orders as they come in.


• You manage special customer orders or holds and connect with our customers when they come in.


• Process any paperwork or invoices needed as part of the shipping and receiving process at the store


• Taking pride in your work environment is important which is why the back shelves are organized and clean.


• This position works as part of a team and jumps in to help ensure team members are supported and our products and store look their best!
