Job summary

Nature's Fare Markets in Langley, BC, is seeking a Receiver/Store Team Member to help keep shelves stocked and orders flowing. You will welcome drivers, inspect deliveries, and process invoices as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a shipping & receiving role.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
• A passion for local, organic and sustainable food.

Responsibilities

• Welcome delivery drivers and receive orders from vendors and Nature’s Fare locations daily.
• Ensure orders show no obvious damages on arrival.
• Manage special customer orders or holds and connect with customers in-store.
• Process paperwork or invoices as part of shipping and receiving.
• Keep back shelves organized and clean for customers and staff.
• Work as part of a team and support colleagues to keep shelves & store looking best.
• Be a helpful, safety‑minded team player who enjoys their work.

***The successful candidate can expect to work 32 - 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday or Thursday to Sunday (subject to change)***

Regular Store Hours:

Mon – Sat 8:00am – 8:00pm
Sun 9:00am – 7:00pm

RECEIVERTEAM MEMBER

As part of our team, you are part of the magic that keeps the flow and order of things moving. This role receives incoming products to keep our shelves stocked for our customers so they are able to grab what they need, when they need it. You are the “go-to” for day-to-day invoice paperwork and product shipping questions for the team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• You welcome delivery drivers and receive orders that arrive from our vendors and other Nature’s Fare locations each day.
• Quality products is important to us and our customers so you make sure there are no obvious damages to the orders as they come in.
• You manage special customer orders or holds and connect with our customers when they come in.
• Process any paperwork or invoices needed as part of the shipping and receiving process at the store
• Taking pride in your work environment is important which is why the back shelves are organized and clean.
• This position works as part of a team and jumps in to help ensure team members are supported and our products and store look their best!
• In other words, you will help others, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be safe, be a great team player and have fun!
