Millcroft Inn & Spa in Caledon, Ontario, seeks a Receiver to ensure goods received match purchase orders in quantity and quality. The role includes moving goods to proper locations for distribution across departments on site.

You will work with Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Kitchen teams, using a computerized system to inspect, put away, rotate stock and complete daily paperwork. Physical duties include lifting and standing, with flexibility to adapt to seasonal needs.

Formación

• Grade 12 or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Health and safety training required.

Responsabilidades

• Receives, inspects, puts away and rotates products; completes paperwork daily using computerized system.
• Inspects the quality of the shipment; arranges inspection if not to spec with Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintains back-order files and follows up on supplies not yet received.
• Prints purchase orders for daily arrivals and coordinates with departments.
• Maintains and cleans storage areas and ensures knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties' products and services.
• Supports all other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

To ensure that goods that are received match the purchase order both in quantity and quality. Physically move the goods to the correct locations for distribution to various departments on property.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Works closely with Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Kitchen and other operations departments to receive, inspect put away and rotate products and complete paperwork daily using computerized system
• Inspects the quality of the shipment. If it is not to specifications arranges to have the shipment inspected by the Manager or Supervisor
• Maintains a back-order file and follows up on supplies not yet received
• Prints purchase orders for daily arrivals
• Maintains and cleans storage areas
• Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties' products and services
• All other duties as assigned

Professional Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
• Health and safety training required

Physical Requirements
