Job summary

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Rebuilder to reconstruct transmissions, differentials, clutches, and related drivetrain components. The role emphasizes hands-on disassembly, inspection, parts preparation, and reassembly, with attention to safety and accurate documentation.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of rebuilder experience, be able to lift 50+ lbs, possess their own tools or willingness to acquire them, and hold a valid driver’s license or CDL.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of heavy-duty rebuilder experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical work.
• Own tools or willingness to purchase tools as you advance.
• Valid driver’s license and/or CDL with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble unit components.
• Wash, inspect, prep, and discard damaged parts.
• Prepare list of required replacement parts for the work order.
• Paint and clean parts.
• Reassemble and assign serial numbers to units.
• Pull new parts from inventory and complete the paperwork.
• Tag units as required.
• Submit work orders for invoicing.
• Maintain clean work area and follow EH&S standards.

Rebuilder Responsibilities Include:

• Disassemble unit components


• Wash parts, inspect parts, prep parts and discard all damaged parts


• Prepare list of required replacement parts for the work order


• Paint and clean parts


• Reassemble and assign serial number to unit


• Pull new parts from inventory and complete the appropriate paperwork


• Tag units as required


• Submit work order for invoicing


• Clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards

Successful Rebuilder Candidates Will Have:

• One year of Rebuilder experience within the heavy-duty industry


• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs


• Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities


• Valid driver's license and/or CDL with good driving record
