Job summary

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Driveline Technician to rebuild drivelines and grind flywheels. Responsibilities include assembling/disassembling parts, measuring, grinding to spec, and processing work orders.

Candidates should have driveline repair experience, be able to lift 50+ lbs, possess an ASE certification or equivalent, and bring or be willing to purchase their own tools. Strong customer service is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and disassemble drivelines; wash parts, inspect parts and discard damaged parts.
  • Take micrometer measurements of flywheels; set grinder and regrind to specifications.
  • Prepare list of required replacement parts on work orders; pull parts from inventory and complete paperwork.
  • Paint and label parts; reassemble and balance if required; tag units for inventory or customer pickup.
  • Submit work orders for invoicing; maintain clean work area and adhere to safety standards.

Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Driveline Technician who will be responsible for rebuilding drivelines and grinding flywheels.

Successful Driveline Technician Candidates Will Have:
  • One year of driveline -- driveshaft repair technician experience within the heavy-duty industry
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
  • Automotive Service Excellence certification appropriate to the job or equivalent
  • Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities (Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited offers a tool purchase or reimbursement program)
  • Valid driver's license and/or CDL with good driving record
  • Experience in Customer Service and handling phone systems
