LandSolutions Inc. is seeking a Real Estate Project Manager (Project Manager, Land Acquisitions) for a 1-year contract with hybrid work in Toronto.

The role focuses on acquiring, managing, and disposing of real estate rights to support transmission and distribution projects. You will handle market analysis, appraisals, and property assessments, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in real estate transactions, valuations and related practices.
• Experience valuing and acquiring fee, easements or other real estate interests.
• Ability to analyze market data and prepare valuations and reports.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of real estate legislation and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Acquire real estate rights including fee, easement, and other interests from landowners in line with policy.
• Grant, renew, and manage rights (licenses, leases, easements) for company properties.
• Evaluate project proposals, determine real estate requirements, and prepare cost land use reports.
• Analyze market data, prepare appraisals and market value estimates.
• Attend meetings, build relationships with clients, legal reps, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company requirements; secure approval for settlements.
• Stay informed on real estate trends; support decision making for goals and timelines.
• Coordinate data exchange between Real Estate, clients, and other groups; resolve issues.
