Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Real Estate Acquisitions Manager for a fully remote role in Canada. You will lead identification, evaluation, and negotiation of real estate deals, build sophisticated financial models, and drive due diligence to align with the investment strategy.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in real estate acquisitions, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and can work independently in a remote capacity to grow the firm’s portfolio across diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in real estate acquisitions, investment, or development.
• Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex real estate transactions.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation methods, and due diligence processes.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Source, analyze, and negotiate potential real estate acquisitions across asset classes and geographies.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to assess deal viability, projected returns, and risk profiles.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property inspections, title review, environmental assessments, and entitlement analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, and other industry professionals to generate deal flow.
• Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for the investment committee with clear recommendations.
