A fast paced young Law firm, Vantage Law, located in Vaughan is in need of an energetic Real Estate Law Clerk to join its team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle residential real estate files from start to finish (purchase, sale, refinance, private lending)
• Prepare various requests for discharges, postponements, information statements, tax certificates, etc.
• Prepare and complete final reports to lenders and clients
• Directly communicates with lenders, clients, municipalities, other lawyer’s offices etc.
• Organizes and maintains physical and electronic files, assist with submitting executed documents
• Operate seamlessly in a team environment

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:

• At least1 year of experiencein the real estate law field
• A post-secondary diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program, or equivalent years of experience
• Proficiency with Lawyer Done Deal (LDD), Teraview, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and One Drive Excellent organization, time-management, and verbal + written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor, high ethical standards, and commitment to service excellence
