We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and highly organized Real Estate Law Clerk to join our multi-service practice in downtown Toronto. Learn more about us at Legal Services.

What You'll Do:
  1. Manage and prepare residential real estate transactions from start to finish, including opening files, conducting searches, and finalizing accounting and reporting.
  2. Conduct, review, and take necessary actions on all required searches for real estate files.
  3. Prepare and respond to letters of requisition and register various real estate documents in the Teraview system, including transfers, estate transfers, trust transfers, privates, and others.
  4. Think critically about the work involved in preparing a real estate file.
  5. Work closely with TvH partners and staff to understand transactions and ensure timely closings.
  6. Schedule client meetings and deliver documents for signatures virtually.
  7. Operate in a paperless office environment.
  8. Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, partners, lenders, and other solicitors.
  9. Contribute ideas to improve practice efficiency and growth.
  10. Provide exceptional client service throughout the process.
  11. Meet deadlines and assist with other legal files and document preparations as needed.
  12. Perform administrative duties to support the practice.
We Need Someone Who Is:
  1. Experienced as a Real Estate Law Clerk (minimum 4 years).
  2. Extremely organized, proactive, and accurate in file preparation.
  3. Tech-savvy with strong IT skills.
  4. Logical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented.
  5. A team player who can work independently.
  6. Passionate, eager, and excited about growth.
  7. Meticulous and quick learner.
  8. Proficient with Lawyer Done Deal, Unity, Teraview, MS Office, Cosmolex.
  9. Familiar with Nojumi, CRM Dynamic 365, and AI technologies.
  10. Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
