Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking a Real Assets, Infrastructure Project Finance Manager to lead advisory engagements and oversee sophisticated financial models for large-scale infrastructure projects.

You will drive forecasting, cash-flow analyses, and market research while building and sustaining client relationships across engagements. The role also involves mentoring associates and contributing to compelling client reports and proposals.

Qualifications

  • Strong finance background with project finance and/or infrastructure advisory or investing.
  • Experience in a consulting firm, lender, sponsor, developer, investor, or government agency is an asset.
  • Proven financial modeling expertise for infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with financial forecasting and cash-flow analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute infrastructure and project finance advisory engagements across a variety of asset types.
  • Develop, review, and oversee complex financial models supporting project financing and funding analyses.
  • Perform financial, commercial, and market analyses related to infrastructure and project finance.
  • Stay current on developments in the Canadian infrastructure market and identify advisory opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Train, coach, and review work completed by Associates and Senior Associates across multiple engagements.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of client reports, deliverables, and information memorandums.
  • Lead business development efforts, including proposals, pitch decks, and other marketing materials.
  • Work collaboratively across teams in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong finance background with experience in project finance and/or infrastructure advisory or investing
  • Experience gained in a consulting firm, lender, sponsor, developer, investor, or government agency is considered an asset
  • Proven financial modeling expertise, including the development and review of models for infrastructure projects
  • Experience with financial forecasting and cash‑flow analysis
  • Experience working in infrastructure broadly; sector‑specific experience is considered an asset but not required
  • CFA designation preferred or actively pursuing; CPA not required
  • Familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar platforms is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments
  • Openness to learning new tools and approaches, including emerging digital and analytics capabilities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with diverse teams

The salary range for this position is $84,700 -$134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
