Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a professional truck driver to safely operate heavy trucks and trailers at multiple sites across Canada. The role requires pre/post trip inspections, efficient loading/unloading, and strict adherence to delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards.

You will communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations, with overtime opportunities and long-term employment within a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License required.
• Post-offer physical examination and background check required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a 5‑axle truck or trailer truck to transport materials to and from worksites.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License is required

Work Environment
