Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Calgary is seeking a professional truck driver to safely operate a 5-axle truck and deliver Ready-Mix Concrete to customer sites and jobsites. You will complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and paperwork, and communicate with dispatch to support daily operations while following all safety procedures.

This role operates in a union environment with overtime opportunities and a competitive wage package.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safe driving and compliance with site protocols.
• Ability to operate heavy trucks (5-axle) and related equipment.
• Experience driving manual and automatic vehicles is preferred.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a 5‑axle truck to transport and deliver Ready-Mix Concrete to customer and job sites


• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and ensure vehicle readiness


• Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and compliance with transportation regulations


• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to support daily operations


• Follow all company safety procedures to maintain a secure and efficient work environment

Conditions of Employment
