Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Canada Limited is seeking a ready-mix driver to safely operate a concrete delivery truck, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

You will maintain delivery records, adhere to safety protocols, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. The position offers CAD 28.00 per hour, long-term employment, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Safety minded and compliant with safety protocols.
• Experience operating a ready-mix or similar truck is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends/holidays.

What you'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete products to customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
