Job summary

United In Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Fitting Shop Supervisor to lead a busy fitting shop in an expanding engineering environment. You will allocate work, drive productivity, and ensure 5S and health and safety standards are rigorously followed.

The role requires hands-on engineering leadership with a background in heavy engineering, CNC, lathes and grinding equipment, and a proven ability to hit deadlines while managing a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory environment with CNC machines, lathes and grinding equipment.
• Background in heavy engineering and leading a team.
• Knowledge of 5S lean manufacturing and health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fitting shop by allocating work and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure 5S, health and safety adherence, and drive problem solving.

Job description

My clients are well established and very busy. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fitting Shop Supervisor to join an expanding engineering company. Experienced engineer with a background in heavy Engineering and leading a team. To lead a fitting shop, allocate work and hit deadlines ensuring 5S and health and safety are adhered too.

Start salary upto around £40k DOE

8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday.

8am - 1pm on Fridays.

Free site parking,

Plenty of overtime is available

The Role
