Job summary

MTrec Technical is proudly representing MTrec Recruitment's prestigious manufacturing client in recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician to join the team. You will assist with small engineering projects and support on-site maintenance and production activities.

The successful candidate will have a manufacturing or engineering background, be a strong communicator, IT literate, and safety-conscious, with a collaborative approach to project work.

Qualifications

• Proven background within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• IT literacy and confidence in using various systems.
• Health and safety conscious with high workplace standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
• Apply and change lubricants and fluids to planned maintenance schedules.
• Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our in-house system.
• Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site.
• Customer liaison and assisting in meetings.
• Follow strictly practices and procedures including 5s and Health & Safety.

We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician, to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with small engineering projects. If you are an experienced manufacturing operative, with a background in mechanical, production or chemical manufacturing and looking for your next career move.

The job you’ll do:

• Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
• Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules
• Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.
• Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site
• Customer liaison and assisting in meetings

About you:

• You will have a proven background within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• A strong communicator, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
• You may be from a machine operating background, where you have set up, stripped, cleaned and reassembled equipment.
• You will be a team player and take a collaborative approach to project work.
• You will be IT literate and confident in the use of various systems.
• Health and Safety conscious, with a strong focus on maintaining the highest standards within the workplace.
