Job summary

SPR Trailer Services is seeking Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join our established team based in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire. You will service, repair, and prepare trailers for MOTs, attend roadside breakdowns, and perform quayside checks with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

A full driving licence is essential, and C+E licence is advantageous. The role includes out-of-hours on-call duties with attractive additional remuneration and a supportive, technology-driven workplace.

As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you'll be responsible for:

• Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as required
• Preparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections
• Attending roadside breakdowns and completing repairs/servicing at customer sites
• Performing trailer checks and repairs at the quayside
• Following company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations
• Working efficiently, responsibly, and to a high standard
• C+E licence is advantageous (training can be provided if required)
• To be part of the out of hours on-call team. Attractive additional renumeration paid

As a Trailer Technician / Fitter you'll bring relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong background of mechanical or engineering skills. Reliability, strong time management, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential. A full driving licence is essential.
