Job summary

Private Household in the UK is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist an adult male with Autism who is nonverbal, living in his own flat. You will provide daily support and help with meals and household chores, while accompanying him to activities such as gym, cinema, church, shopping, barber, bowling, theatre, and more. Full training is provided.

DBS cost (£79) will be reimbursed after probation. Shifts include Tue 6pm-10pm (4h), Thu 6pm-10pm (4h), Sat 3pm-10pm (7h), and Sun 3pm-10pm

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving for adults preferred.
• Ability to support nonverbal individuals.
• Comfort with assisting with meals and household tasks.

Responsibilities

• Escort to activities (gym, cinema, church, shopping, barber, bowling, theatre).
• Assist with personal care tasks and meals.
• Support household chores and daily living in the flat.

Job description

Looking for a Support Worker to support an adult male in his own flat.

The Service User is 30 years old and has a diagnosis of Autism and is nonverbal.

£16.50 per hour

Full (paid) training will be provided.

Tuesday 6pm-10pm (4hrs)

Thursday 6pm-10pm (4hrs)

Saturday 3pm-10pm (4hrs)

Sunday 3pm-10pm

(1 hour paid lunch break)

DBS at cost to applicant (£79.00) will be reimbursed after probationary period.

You will escort him to the gym/ Cinema/ Church/shopping/Barbers/ bowling/Theatre/nail and pedicure shop etc. The activity depends on the day.

He is independent with all his personal care needs. You will be required to support him with household chores and support him to make his meals.
