Job summary

Starlink Aviation is seeking a Ramp Agent in Capitale-Nationale, Quebec. You will greet passengers and crew, prepare aircraft for flight, and guide aircraft on the ramp with hand signals.

Expect an irregular schedule, Monday to Sunday, with on-site work and the need to lift up to 50 lbs. Bilingual French/English and safety compliance are required; prior aviation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Canadian work permit required.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5); Class 3 is an asset.
• Airside AVOP or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• Eligible for RAIC; bilingual French/English.
• Aviation experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and crew in a professional, courteous manner.
• Prepare aircraft for flight and customer acceptance.
• Guide aircraft on arrivals/departures using hand signals.
• Tow aircraft, refuel, load/unload as required.
• Transport passengers/crew and ensure ramp safety.

Job description

Under the supervision of the Ramp Supervisor, the incumbent acts as a ramp agent. He/she performs the work of the ramp agent and provides a safe, professional, courteous and polite experience for passengers and crew members.

Description of the main duties:

• Greet passengers and crew members in a professional, courteous and respectful manner;
• Respect at all times the application of safety rules on the ramp and in the hangar;
• Prepare aircraft for flight and customer acceptance;
• Guide aircraft during arrivals and departures, using hand signals;
• Tow aircraft;
• Refuel aircraft;
• Load/unload;
• Transport passengers/crew members;
• Other related tasks.

Conditions

• Available Monday to Sunday

• Irregular schedule
• Hourly salary of $27

• Must have a Canadian work permit at a minimum;
• Valid driver's license (class 5);
• Class 3 driver’s license (an asset);
• Hold an Airside "D" Driver's Licence (AVOP), or be prepared to obtain one within the first 3 months of employment;
• Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC);
• Bilingual (French and English spoken);
• Experience in aviation (an asset);
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Ability to work in different climatic conditions (hot and cold);
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs).
