Job summary

Starlink-Aviation in Longueuil, Canada, is seeking a Ramp Agent to support ramp operations under the Ramp Supervisor. You will greet passengers and crew, ensure safety, and prepare aircraft for flight with professionalism and efficiency.

Key duties include guiding aircraft with hand signals, towing, refueling, loading and unloading, transporting passengers, and performing related tasks. The role requires a Canadian work permit, valid licenses, bilingual French/English, and the ability to lift 50

Qualifications

• Canadian work permit required.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licenses (Class 5, asset Class 3), AVOP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and crew in a professional manner.
• Follow safety rules on ramp and in hangar.
• Prepare aircraft for flight and customer acceptance.
• Guide aircraft during arrivals and departures with hand signals.
• Tow aircraft and refuel as required.
• Load/unload goods and assist passengers/crew.
• Transport passengers and crew as needed.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Under the supervision of the Ramp Supervisor, the incumbent acts as a ramp agent. He/she performs the work of the ramp agent and provides a safe, professional, courteous and polite experience for passengers and crew members.

Description of the main duties:

• Greet passengers and crew members in a professional, courteous and respectful manner;
• Respect at all times the application of safety rules on the ramp and in the hangar;
• Prepare aircraft for flight and customer acceptance;
• Guide aircraft during arrivals and departures, using hand signals;
• Tow aircraft;
• Refuel aircraft;
• Load/unload;
• Transport passengers/crew members;
• Other related tasks.

Conditions

• Available Monday to Sunday

• Irregular schedule
• Hourly salary of $27

• Must have a Canadian work permit at a minimum;
• Valid driver's license (class 5);
• Class 3 driver’s license (an asset);
• Hold an Airside "D" Driver's Licence (AVOP), or be prepared to obtain one within the first 3 months of employment;
• Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC);
• Bilingual (French and English spoken);
• Experience in aviation (an asset);
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Ability to work in different climatic conditions (hot and cold);
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs).
