Job summary

Perimeter Aviation LP is seeking a Ramp Agent to sort, load and unload baggage, freight and equipment for aircraft, ensuring service levels and on-time performance. The role requires safety compliance, effective communication with the Ramp team, and assistance with ramp operations and aircraft servicing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must qualify for and obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain transportation security clearances.
• Previous warehouse and/or Ramp experience is an asset.
• Previous aviation operation experience is an asset.
• Forklift license or training is an asset.
• Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sort, load and unload baggage, freight and equipment.
• Tow and marshall aircraft, drive and fuel equipment, de-ice aircraft, service aircraft lavatories and seats.
• Perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure on-time performance policies and customer service standards are met.
• Communicate with Ramp Agents, Ramp Supervisor and Aircraft Load Coordinator to meet deadlines.
• Monitor customer safety and assist customers courteously.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete safety training.
• Handle baggage and airfreight carefully and efficiently.
• Assist Flight Crew with off-loads at various destinations.
• Assist with ramp set-up and storage of equipment and baggage.
