Job summary

Transco Rail Services in Regina, SK is seeking a Railcar Repair Supervisor to lead daily repair operations, coach unionized staff, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage resources and schedules across shifts.

You will drive continuous improvement, oversee training and certifications, and collaborate with teams to meet production targets while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience in railcar repair or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in a unionized environment.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and legal ability to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and lead daily repair operations for unionized staff.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity and regulatory compliance.
• Assign work to meet schedules and customer commitments.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate direct reports on performance.
• Lead toolbox meetings and manage attendance and discipline as needed.
• Monitor KPIs, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare labour reporting and repair documentation; apply collective bargaining rules.
