Procor Limited, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring a Railcar Repair Technician for our North Battleford, SK site. You will cut, fit, and repair railcars, perform AAR repairs, and help maintain safety and quality standards.

We value hands-on mechanics, ability to read work orders, and comfortable work in all weather and confined spaces. The role involves travel and overnight stays as needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 7:00 a.m. start.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to operate the needed tools for the position.
• Must be able to read and understand written work orders and material safety data sheets.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights of 15 feet.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior rail car repair or general steel work preferred.
• Pre-employment welding course preferred.
• Blue print reading.
• WHMIS training would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Cut, fit, and repair railcars, their components, and other items as necessary to facilitate railcar repair.
• Perform all necessary AAR repairs to railcars including cutting, straightening, and car repair.
• Perform and document quality control checks as required by Company quality standards.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance checks on used equipment.
• Comply with company and regulatory safety and environmental standards.
• This role involves travel and overnights away from home base.
• Normal schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., may change with business needs.
