CN in Saskatchewan seeks a leader to oversee track inspection and repair operations across an assigned territory, including rails, ties, switches, and ballasts. You will support the Track Supervisor daily and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires coordinating track gangs, managing budgets, and delivering timely maintenance while navigating collective agreements and safety standards in a hybrid work model.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience in safety compliance
• Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving
• Experience in regulatory or safety environment*
• Experience in budget management*
• Experience supervising a unionized workforce*

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering operations as outlined in CN's operating plan
• Supervise and lead track gangs and hi-rail operations
• Ensure compliance with safe work procedures and regulations
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to employees
• Apply collective agreements and company policies; address grievances
• Oversee budgets and productivity per CN policies
• Communicate track conditions and production updates to senior management
• Ensure track safety through regulatory inspections and TIS inputs
• Follow up on track issues to ensure standards
• Participate in derailment and service disruption responses
• Perform safety audits and safety engagements for unionized workforce
• Plan, schedule, and perform track repairs and maintenance
• Respond to emergencies
