Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Ports and Marine team in Canada. You will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for port, harbour and waterfront infrastructure, from feasibility to commissioning, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, reliable and sustainable solutions.

The role requires experience with medium and low voltage distribution, shore power connections, grounding, UPS, lighting, and electrical drawing production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Experience designing electrical systems for ports, marine environments, or waterfront infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with standards and regulations for port and marine electrical installations.
  • Experience producing calculations, specifications, and design drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineering of electrical systems for port, harbour and waterfront projects.
  • Prepare reports, calculations, drawings and specifications to meet project needs.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable infrastructure.
  • Support project delivery through design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
