Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Systems Engineering Management (Requirements) to lead governance of requirements across the GO Expansion program in Toronto. You will ensure traceability from business objectives through design, testing and validation, coordinating across civil, track, signals, and electrification work streams.

You will mentor systems engineering resources, manage interfaces with partners and regulators, and oversee DOORS Next Generation tooling to maintain robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field. Master's considered an asset.
• PEng designation in Ontario preferred.
• 10+ years in engineering and systems engineering roles.
• 3–5 years in engineering management or requirements leadership.
• Experience delivering requirements on large infrastructure/rail projects.
• Familiarity with INCOSE and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 standards.
• Experience with DOORS Next Generation or equivalent tools.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and interface management.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and development of Requirements Management Plans and processes.
• Establish and maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from objectives through design, testing and validation.
• Coordinate requirements across civil, track, signals, communications, electrification and rolling stock.
• Conduct requirements impact assessments and manage technical change.
• Manage interfaces with delivery partners, contractors and regulators.
• Oversee use of requirements tools such as IBM DOORS NG.
• Support systems assurance, safety and RAMS through requirements governance.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to systems engineering teams.
• Support program delivery by managing risks related to requirements development, verification and compliance.
