Job summary

Mott MacDonald Canada is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to reinforce our Rail Systems team in Vancouver or Toronto. You’ll drive interfaces, deploy integrated rail solutions, and work within a multi-discipline SE/SA team on complex projects.

We value engineers who can manage requirements, engage with clients, support bids, and collaborate across offices. A hybrid in-office culture supports collaboration and project delivery across North America.

Qualifications

• P.Eng in Alberta, BC or Ontario or able to register.
• Minimum 7 years’ progressive experience in system integration, preferably in rail/transit or public infrastructure.
• Experience in development or deployment of complex systems.
• Experience in setting to work of integrated solutions.
• Experience working with requirements, including elicitation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and document interfaces within and between systems.
• Integration of Rail Systems into overall light rail, urban transit and heavy rail projects.
• Work with a multi-discipline SESA team.
• Collaborate with delivery partners and service providers.
• Assist in commissioning and setting to work of Rail Control systems.
• Support development of bids and field construction activities.
• Interact with and support colleagues across Mott MacDonald.
• Engage with end clients as needed.
