Alstom in Toronto is seeking a Signalling Installation Estimator to consolidate cost inputs, prepare target price submissions, and coordinate procurement across project corridors. You will work with procurement, finance, engineering, and installation teams to ensure accurate estimates and data traceability.

The role emphasizes on-site presence four days per week, with a focus on cost management and process improvement within Canada’s rail projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• 7+ years of professional experience in cost estimation, bids, or tenders
• Experience in rail signalling or large construction projects in Canada
• Proficiency with MS Excel and cost management tools
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams

Responsabilités

• Support target price submissions for multiple project corridors
• Consolidate cost inputs across subcontractor quotations and historical data
• Manage procurement tracking during target price phase
• Perform technical evaluations of quotations with subcontractors
• Review and structure QCD files for consistency and transparency
• Prepare documentation for internal and external client gates
• Coordinate with teams to ensure alignment and traceability of cost data
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement of estimation processes
