Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Rail Requirements Management Specialist in Canada to drive requirements management across ongoing transit projects. You will work with stakeholders, organize requirements, and ensure traceability for signaling, traction power, and related systems.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering, familiarity with RM tools, and excellent communication skills. This role involves collaborating with project managers and multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Interest in Rail & Transit Infrastructure.
• Strong engineering fundamentals for transportation.
• Familiarity with requirements management software.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork.
• Presentation skills with colleagues and clients at all levels.
• Eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Familiarity with codes and standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior staff on rail projects across Canada.
• Support creation and organization of project requirements in IBM DOORS NG or similar.
• Coordinate end-to-end traceability across rail systems design and operations.
• Support audits and compliance checks.
• Present technical material to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and project managers to complete RM tasks.
• Understand standards such as ISO/IEC 15288, INCOSE, AREMA, NEC/NFPA, and NFPA-related specs.
