Job summary

Interior Health Authority seeks a Regional Medical Imaging reader to support the Kootenay Boundary Region. You will read diagnostic imaging studies from KBRH Trail and partner facilities from a home workstation, with regular in-hospital days at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC.

New graduates and locums are welcome during recruitment. You will collaborate with IH centres to ensure high-quality care and access leadership development through the NAVIG8 program.

• Read diagnostic imaging studies from KBRH (Trail) and partner facilities (KLH, Castlegar & District CHC, Grand Forks' Boundary District Hospital, Slocan CHC, Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp).
• Work from home with regular in-hospital days at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC.
• Collaborate with Interior Health centres to ensure high-quality care.

Position Summary

Join our Regional Medical Imaging Team providing services for the Kootenay Boundary Region from the comfort of your home workstation with regular scheduled in hospital workdays at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC.We are privileged to read Medical Imaging studies from KBRH (Trail), KLH (Nelson), Castlegar and District Community Health Centre, Grand Forks' Boundary District Hospital, Slocan Community Health Centre, and Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp.Currently building a hospital extension to house a brand new MR suite. We have a 1.5T MR, x2 CTs, 10 US, a multiuse Fluoroscopy room for basic interventional procedures, a diagnostic breast imaging center, nuclear medicine, and bone densitometry.We welcome new graduates or those interested in locum opportunities during the recruitment process.Leadership development opportunities are available through Interior Health's NAVIG8 Program.With 13 weeks, or more, of leave and a flexible local team, you will have ample time for personal or academic pursuits.
