The Radiological Technologist works in a computerized environment, producing diagnostic radiographs as assigned and performing diagnostic procedures independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician. The role involves applying radiation safety principles to protect patients, staff, and the public, along with completing documentation and administrative tasks.
Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Graduation from an approved radiology technology program. Eligibility for CAMRT membership.
