Job summary

FED Group is seeking an R&D Technician – Scientific Support to join a small R&D team. You will develop formulations, prepare laboratory prototypes, and run trials to improve products and processes. Collaboration with Quality, Production, Engineering and Sales will be essential.

You should have a strong scientific background and be fluent in French with intermediate English; HACCP knowledge is an asset. Training can be provided for the right mindset and curiosity.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and scientific approach.
• Excellent French, written and spoken; intermediate English.
• Experience in food manufacturing or R&D is an asset.
• Background in HACCP or food safety standards is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Developing and modifying product formulations according to needs.
• Preparing laboratory prototypes and product samples.
• Planning, conducting and documenting R&D trials.
• Supporting production trials and scale-ups.
• Analyzing results and identifying improvements.
