About the Role

As the Product Developer, you’ll lead the charge in developing exciting new products—formulating and testing prototypes, staying ahead of trends, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to bring scalable, high-performing products to market.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Innovate & Create: Lead the end-to-end development of new frozen and beverage-based products—from ideation to launch.
  • Formulate & Test: Create and optimize formulations, with a specific focus on liquid-based products such as beverages, sauces, marinades, or nutritional supplements.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with teams in Marketing, QA/QC, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment across development stages.
  • Improve Processes: Scale up formulations with production teams, optimizing for quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor Trends: Stay on top of emerging consumer trends, technologies, and ingredients in the frozen and beverage space.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements (HACCP, BRC, FDA, etc.) and maintain accurate documentation throughout the development process.
  • Troubleshoot: Resolve technical challenges in formulation or production to ensure product performance and quality.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master’s a plus)
  • 3–5 years of experience in product development within the food & beverage industry
  • Hands-on experience working with liquids (e.g., beverages, sauces, dressings, marinades, nutritional products) is essential
  • Strong understanding of formulation science, ingredient functionality, and production scale-up
  • Working knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance (HACCP, GMP, BRC, FDA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
