This Position reports to:

R&D Engineer

Division Overview

The Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The division’s portfolio includes analyzers for gases and liquids, instrumentation for process variables, force measurement solutions, and digital solutions for device management and predictive maintenance. Key industries served include oil and gas, chemical, water and wastewater, power, hydrogen, batteries, and marine. The division enables process optimization and environmental sustainability through data collection and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design instruments in compliance with requirements, costs, and timelines.
  2. Select and optimize manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, molding, bending, 3D printing, etc.
  3. Review and seal drawings according to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards.
  4. Document mechanical designs, establish tolerance budgets, and inspection plans.
  5. Supervise assembly, commissioning, and create test plans for prototypes.
  6. Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and deliver high-level presentations to clients.
  7. Contribute to planning tasks and technical proposals.
  8. Support production occasionally.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical engineering degree with 5–10 years of experience in complex systems, optics, FEA, and harsh environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, heat and surface treatments.
  • Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, familiar with standards like ASME, ATEX.
  • Innovative mindset, ownership, and continuous improvement drive.
  • Member of OIQ, bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in technical environments.
Language Requirements

French is required. English is also required for communication with international customers.
