Job summary

Ford of Canada is seeking an experienced Research & Development Engineer to manage engine tests at PERDC, coordinating dynamometer teams and interfacing with multiple plants and departments to deliver data and results.

The role requires passion for technical excellence, the ability to work with a diverse team, and a track record in gas/diesel engine research, calibration tools, and test procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in internal combustion engine development and testing.
• Proficiency with powertrain calibration tools and data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage engine tests at PERDC and coordinate technicians and trades.
• Develop and execute test procedures, improve automation and CETP.
• Collaborate with PERDC engineers, product engineers and trades to meet goals.
• Lead major development projects, NVH mapping, performance and emissions.
