Your Unique Expertise

Required Skills:

  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s Engineering degree (or equivalent) with a focus on mechanical or biomedical engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in the medical device industry
  • Understanding of product development life cycle
  • Understanding of design controls and risk management frameworks
  • Ability to independently develop and adapt work plans based on vague or changing project goals.
  • Strong hypothesis-driven experimental design and statistical analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a diverse team of engineers, professional staff, and production staff.
  • Superior communication skills (verbal/written) and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Hands-on experience in experimental design and data analysis
  • Dynamic, flexible approach to work with a results-oriented attitude.

Asset Skills:

  • Experience with drafting and maintaining DHF and DMR documentation.
  • Experience with interventional radiology devices (e.g., wires, sheaths, catheters, etc.)
  • Materials selection or characterization skills
  • Clinical exposure
