About the role:

Our R&D Labeling Manager will lead a team of Labeling Specialists responsible for product literature and labeling for new product development and sustaining projects within our Electrophysiology division. This role emphasizes innovation, sustainability, cost-efficiency, and product protection, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives. The position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment.

NOTE: This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site work in Mississauga at least 3 days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading labeling practitioners to support Regulatory submissions and commercial launch milestones.
  2. Representing the Access Solutions’ labeling team in Global BSC labeling meetings and initiatives.
  3. Partnering with stakeholders to understand priorities, outline schedules, and meet timelines.
  4. Developing and evolving team skills through recruiting, coaching, and training.
  5. Monitoring daily operations and guiding staff to achieve project goals.
  6. Fostering a diverse workplace where all can contribute fully.
  7. Engaging with customers regularly and providing project updates.
  8. Participating in R&D Leadership team initiatives and representing the Labeling team.
  9. Driving results through cross-functional and cross-site strategic discussions.
  10. Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations (e.g., FDA, BSI, EEO).

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years in the medical device industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of people management and technical leadership experience.
  • Experience interpreting and complying with standards and regulations.
  • Ability to lead through change in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with product labeling for Class II or Class III medical devices.
  • Understanding of design control processes per ISO 13485.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for relationship development and maintenance.
  • A desire to grow and expand responsibilities as a manager.

Salary Range: $79,700 - $158,200

The listed compensation and benefits vary based on location and other factors. Compensation is commensurate with experience, education, and organizational needs. It’s uncommon to be hired near the bottom or top of the range.

For hourly, non-sales roles, variable pay may include overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses. Salaried roles may include annual bonuses and long-term incentives. Sales roles are governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan.
