Job summary

Rexel Canada, a leader in electrical distribution, is seeking a Quotation Specialist based in Burnaby, BC. You will quote new tendered jobs, assess specifications for feasibility, and support the quotations and project management teams under the Project Manager.

You will coordinate RFQs from partners, arrange lighting and distribution takeoffs, and negotiate with suppliers to secure project pricing. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

• Experience with quotations in a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Quote new tendered jobs and assess feasibility of requested specifications in line with customer and Westburne requirements.
• Support the quotations and project management teams.
• Coordinate RFQs from partners and assemble lighting and distribution information packages.

• Act as a Brand Ambassador, supporting sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences while maintaining the corporate image.

What You Will Do With Us

As the Quotation Specialist based in Burnaby, BC, you will efficiently quote all new jobs that are out for tender, which will require the ability to determine if requested specifications are achievable and in line with both the requirements of our customer and for Westburne. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support the quotations and project management teams.

• You will act as a liaison with our vendors, contractors and internal staff
• You will obtain RFQ’s from our partners & coordinate the layout of the specifications which will include electrical takeoffs from single line diagrams as well as assembling lighting and distribution information packages
• You will negotiate with key suppliers to obtain project pricing
• You will be a Brand Ambassador, by building brand recognition while supporting sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences. You will consistently ensure that our corporate image is reflected.

• You are proficient with Microsoft Office products

• You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills
• You have prior quotations experience in a similar industry
• Ability to read drawings and specs is an asset.
