Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking an inside/counter sales professional to directly service customers by phone and email, handling orders, inquiries, and quotations. You will ensure high-level customer service and support stock availability alongside proactive outreach to drive additional business.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship-building, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while delivering value in a dynamic electrical distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of inside/counter sales experience.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to impart knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Directly service customers via phone and email daily.
• Process orders, inquiries and quotations.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations.
• Make at least four outbound calls per day to various customers to solicit additional business.
• Assist customers with ecommerce inquiries.

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 64000-70000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel's total rewards package.
