Capital GMC Buick Inc./DBA Capital GMC Buick Edmonton Pit Crew Vibe is seeking a Quick Service Technician to join our team. You’ll be the frontline MVP keeping customers safe on the road with fast, accurate, and reliable maintenance.

No gatekeeping here—we’ll support you, gear you up, and help you sharpen your automotive skills. Expect oil/lube/filter changes, multi-point inspections, and teamwork with Parts and Service Advisors to keep work flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• No 10+ years master mechanic not required; drive, curiosity, and reliability matter more.
• Familiarity with standard vehicle components and basic maintenance, or quick learner who enjoys taking things apart.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to help coworkers when the shop gets busy.
• Detail-oriented in documenting work and ensuring quality on first attempt.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil, lube, and filter changes with speed and accuracy.
• Conduct multi-point inspections of batteries, tires, lights, and fluids.
• Keep customer rides clean with no grease stains or footprints left behind.
• Coordinate with Parts Team and Service Advisors to keep workflow smooth.
• Maintain and organize technician tools and shop equipment.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like

You’re not just changing oil; you’re the doctor giving a car its health checkup. Here’s the main energy you bring every shift:

• The Core Basics: Knock out oil, lube, and filter changes with accuracy and speed.
• The Full Health Check: Run multi-point inspections on batteries, tires, lights, and fluids. Catch hidden issues before they turn into major breakdowns.
• Keep It Clean: Treat every customer’s ride like it’s your own - zero grease stains, zero messy footprints left behind.
• Squad Communication: Sync up with the Parts Team and Service Advisors so everyone stays in the loop and work flows smoothly.
• Tool Pride: Operate equipment like a pro, maintain shop gear, and build out your own technician tool collection.

What We’re Looking For
