Job summary

New Path Youth and Family Services is a barrier-free mental health agency serving children, youth and families in Simcoe County. The Quick Access Clinic uses One-at-a-Time counselling to help clients build a plan for concerns, and clinicians coordinate referrals when needed.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and families, delivering evidence-informed practice while supporting colleagues and respecting diverse backgrounds within our community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W) required.
• Minimum two years' experience with children, youth and families.
• Experience/training in Single Session Counselling.
• Experience with evidence-based/informed programs.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs of children, youth and families and formulate treatment plans.
• Meet with clients and families to provide support and counselling using evidence-based programs.
• Assist client referrals to community resources as needed.
• Provide consultation to New Path staff and community partners.
• Function as a supportive member of the team.
