Job summary

CaesarStone, Ltd. in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Truck Driver Class 1 to safely deliver quartz slabs and provide great customer service. You will load orders, assist with loading, and train in warehouse operations before route assignments.

Mon-Fri, 7am–3:30pm, with overtime as needed, at $30–$33/hour plus bonus. Requirements include a valid AZ license, at least 5 years of verifiable truck driving, impeccable safety record, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid A/Z driver's license (Class 1).
• Minimum of 5 years' verifiable truck driving experience.
• No driving related criminal code convictions in the previous 36 months.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 12 months.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the previous 36 months.
• Defensive Driving Course completed.
• Computer literate.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate power unit safely with automatic or manual transmission per safety rules.
• Inspect truck and safety equipment before, during, and after trips and check for leaks.
• Complete all paperwork and maintain Driver Log.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs) when needed.
• Use Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
• Adhere to DOT regulations and Highway Traffic Act; participate in training as needed.
