Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality testing attendant for the night shift to support production and quality control. You will perform tests on products and packaging, collect data, and ensure equipment runs within specification.

The role requires a Secondary V diploma or equivalent, manual dexterity, attention to detail, autonomy, and the ability to work standing for long periods. Shift runs 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a competitive hourly rate and night premium.

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform tests precisely.
• Autonomy and quick decision-making in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality tests on products and packaging during overnight shifts.
• Check volume, temperature, drained net weight and equipment status.
• Complete reports and relay data to the laboratory and supervisors.
• Ensure the blanchers' temperature and speed are in specification.

Salary: $22.67 / hour + $1.60 night premium = $24.27 per hour

Reporting to the production foreman, the incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the production department and the quality control department by carrying out tests on products and packaging, on a periodic basis.

YOUR DAILY ROLE:

• Check volume, temperature, drained net weight;
• Check the temperature and speed of the blanchers
• Check the quantity and quality of the liquid;
• Perform the tests according to the established procedure;
• Check the code on the lids;
• Complete reports and send them to the laboratory;
• Ensure the equipment is functioning properly
