Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. is seeking a Production laborer for a temporary position at our Ste-Martine facility on the south shore of Montreal. The role covers day, evening or night shifts (no rotation), Monday to Saturday, with a wage between $17.00/h and $19.77/h plus a shift bonus.

Start date is August 13, 2026, and the assignment runs until mid-November 2026. Under supervision, you will perform manual and repetitive tasks, ensuring raw materials are correctly received and residues are cleared from

Qualifications

• Reading and writing skills are required.
• Attention to detail and procedural rigor are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Follow mandatory GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) training.
• Forklift training completion is required or desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct receipt of raw materials on the line.
• Remove vegetable residue from floors/equipment using a shovel.
• Flush conveyors/tunnels with a high/low pressure hose.

Schedule: Day (6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.), evening (2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) or night (10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.) (no shift rotation), Monday to Saturday
Salary: between $17.00/h and $19.77/h + shift bonus

Under the supervision of the team leader or production supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for a variety of tasks on the production line. As part of his/her work, he/she must comply with occupational health and safety rules. He/She will mainly perform manual and repetitive tasks.

YOUR DAILY ROLE:

Ensure the correct receipt of the raw material;
